I am trying to set up alerting for a group of Cisco ASAs that we have at remote locations (group 1). Unfortunately, we also have Cisco ASAs at locations that I want to alert differently than the first group (group 2).
I have "Alert me when a node goes down - Group 1" and "Alert me when a node goes down - Group 1"
Is grouping for alerting a bad practice instead of by node? I see advantages. It seems that it would be more difficult to set up, but easier to manage.
I am a newb at this, so all constructive input is welcome.
