ESX HOST INTERFACE MONITORING

How do you monitor ESX host interfaces?? I have virtulization manager (VMAN ) and i am pulling Vmware information through Vcenter. But i do not see any interfaces for ESX host. So is it possible to monitor the status of interface on all the ESX host and set up alert for it??

If you add the host as a node you should be able to poll and alert on interface details.

Max,
For some additional clarification, adding the Host as a node to get interface alerts and details will work only if you have NPM installed as well. I hope this helps.

Yes, I think Max is correct. You will need to add the ESXi Host to NPM and then you can also select the option to Poll for VMWare which will ask you for your host credentials. You will get more information that way and it will be added to your Virtualization tab. Also you can add the Virtualization Monitor to interface with NPM.
