NPM 12.1 upgrade issues

Anyone else having problems with finishing the npm upgrade to 12.1? I am in the process of rebuilding a brand new instance of SW, rebuild was using latest greatest previous to the march releases and working great.

When the configuration page gets to website optimization, it freezes for hours on end. When I hit skip optimization it finishes and gives an alert that login.aspx has an issue. Logins no longer work obviously.

I had the backup team roll me back to last night (I was a bad boy and forgot to take a snap shot)- same issues on attempt #2.

I opened a TAC case, WOW... 2 minutes (literally) after I submitted it online- someone called me back. Turns out they changed some of the HTTP - > https logic and it was throwing the error. It corrected itself. All is well. Well don't SolarWinds dudes and dudettes.

Apparently this is a normal return on the configuration wizard if you are using HTTPS instead of HTTP for the solarwinds website.

What is the fix? We have https on our Orion site.
I'm upgrading next week. Why do I do if it hangs?

Also don't forget to check your website table and that the correct URL is the primary for all your alerts and emails.

Bindings in IIS on the solarwinds server - will help you bind the site to HTTP or HTTPS
