Scalability Engine error on primary poller upgrade to 12.1

Are there any more details you can share? Screen shot of error message, description of products and versions installed?

Looking at the release notes I do not see anything similar

This, which is in the release notes:

• When upgrading on the Additional Poller, you may receive this error "The license we have for Orion Scalability Engine is outdated". See this article for details to resolve.

This is happening on my main poller, not my additional poller, upgrading from 12.0. I just need to know if the steps to resolve are the same, as the article only suggests that this happens on the APE.

In my experience, if you call to open the ticket instead of going online, you will get faster response.

The article does specify APE's however as the root cause is with the licensing I suspect this issue could also apply to the primary pollers also. What does your license manager look like?

What does License Manager look like from the Web Console?  Settings -> All Settings -> License Manager.  The old standalone license manager is not longer supported / valid.

Thanks - I was just following what the KB article mentioned. I do see that there is a license for the "Orion Scalability Engine Evaluation Core" in my web-based License Manager. I see that there are two licenses of a few of my products - one that is 'Assigned' and expired last December, and one that is 'Unassigned' and expires December 2017. I believe the instructions in the KB detail how to deal with this situation, I just didn't want to forge ahead because there is no mention of this error occurring on the primary poller.

which was essentially, deactivate the licenses on the win32 app and then reactivate them using the web-based license manager. Seems I can now start the installation process on the primary poller. PerfStack, here I come!

So I encountered this issue this weekend, and I want to read the link presented, but when I click on it I can't get to it...my SW customer ID and password do not work, what am I missing??
