NPM 12.3 has shipped and we're hard at work building the next release.  Here's what we're working on, in no particularly order.

  • Cisco ACI Monitoring - See ​ and .
  • Remote Collector - New, agent based collector for distributed environments and hybrid deployments.  See .
  • Next Generation Orion Mapping - First version delivered in NPM 12.3 via Orion Platform 2018.2.  Working on the next version.  See ​, , and .

  • My current question is will my existing FoE maintenance be converted into an HA 2.0 license.  I was going to drop the FoE maintenance because the wording on the NPM documentation made it look like the DR function was going to be integrated with the core product.

    This was further confused by the marketing of HA versus DR.  Those are two different things in my vocabulary.  I don't need HA, I need DR.

    If all I have to do is maintain my current FoE maintenance, I will do that.

    The main issue at hand is the lack of a consistent product vocabulary/documentation between the sales/marketing/tech divisions of Solarwinds.
