Email from same domain getting rejected

Need help. We have an email account on our same domain. @shiplps.com getting rejected when trying to send an email to our helpdesk@shiplps.com. We are sending an email from our HRFax@shiplps.com address to the helpdesk@shiplps.com and keeps coming back saying "We're sorry, your e-mail address was not recognized by the help desk, so your request for support could not be submitted" Can someone please help me with what I need to change so that this email address will go through to the helpdesk system?
