Try using the "Custom Object" Resource. Go to customize page and then add that resource. After its displaying on your page, click Edit to tell it which objects to display. Hardware Health and in particular, power supply objects, may be available there.
Or since you are using syslog, there should be a way to flag the power supply syslog message as an action in syslog viewer, such as coloring the syslog message or playing a sound. You can then put the "Last xx syslog messages" resource on your NOCs summary page. I used to do that for port security traps. I created a rule in trap viewer that colored the trap messages yellow. Then on my NOC summary page, I displayed the last 25 traps Resource. It was obvious when there was a port security violation because those messages were highlighted yellow. Traps are all black and white, while syslogs are already colored by severity.
Those are the things I would consider off the top of my head.
