Create custom poller that identifies IKE peer IPs

I've attempted to create a custom poller based on an OID that I've identified.

1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.171.1.2.3.1.7 identifies a table of IPs that are current IKE Peers.

When I create the custom poller, Orion complains that it can not comprehend multiple values and it needs to be consolidated to one.

I don't know how to do this 'the orion way'

I just want a table that lists all the ike peers and I want to create an alert when x.x.x.x is no longer a peer and when x.x.x.x becomes a peer.

I've found custom pollers that can alert on the total number of peers but this is generally useless for my purposes.
Is this not possible with Orion? I can't imagine I'm the first person to request this but also surprised there isn't already a poller that exists for this.

Thanks,
