When did this stop working?
Are your other pollers having issues with this specific service?
Have you tested your node against the snpm string ?
Is this the only service that is failing to report?
Stopped working on the 4th of Jan but didn't see any emails or I could have missed them until the 23rd of Jan.
No other pollers are having the same issue
Not sure which snmp string you are referring to (the one for the poller?)
Yes this is the only service failing at this time.
Thought you were pulling the info via snmp, leading to my snmp question.
This is a SAM template running WMI correct ?
These are worker process started by the SW job engine -- you might not have any running if they are not needed.
e.g On one polling engine have three running, on another I have eight
what happens if you restart the SW job Engine 2 on the additional polling engine?
Which is strange why all of sudden it stopped running. I have tried to restart SW Job Engine 2 via task manager and via services. I even rebooted the polling engine with no change.
Appreciate the information in trying to help with this.
I have disabled the monitor for now, will see if I get any reports of issues.
I used the following to resolve my issue:
Click Start, type cmd right click cmd.exe, and select Run as administrator.
At the prompt, type lodctr /r and press ENTER. This will repair the pointers (those are stored in the registry).
First time run may produce the following: Error: Unable to rebuild performance counter setting from system backup store, error code is 2
Run the command again to see this: Info: Successfully rebuilt performance counter setting from system backup store.
Then again, I have another APE where all monitors are x64.
