Looking for a Capacity Management Mentor

I am a newly assigned Capacity Manager. I am looking for a mentor in the field to help guide me.

Would anyone like to help me out with a bit of guidance?

We utilize Solarwinds for reporting, but I find that many of our platforms (services) do not.

I have focused on Memory, CPU and Storage, but feel this is not adequate in really performing as a Capacity Manager.

My environment is we are a Large IT Group with Datacenter that supports about 37 customers, ranging from 4-5 servers to 500-600 servers.

Totally we handle about 4500 servers.

I am looking for a email relationship where I can ask questions and gain guidance on what should I really be looking at and reporting on, and how to do so.

What Solarwinds products do you have ?

I am in exactly the same position everywhere online says you can do it with Solarwinds but not how and what with. I have almost all the modules.
Management asking for Capacity Management without any detail. For me you can only do Capacity Management if you own the solution. For example server capacity management should be done by the Server team, Storage capacity Management should be done by Storage team etc.
Or there should be a specific role just for Capacity management.
Any thoughts

It depends as to what specifically your organization is looking to accomplish. I would talk with engineers of each team and see what they want, then build reports from there.
