I have a SQL job that is doing DB backups. All of a sudden I've been getting alerts that the job is failing. When I look in SQL it has not shown any failures and my backups are there. This is happening everyday. Has anyone seen this before. The strange thing is the alert later shows as been reset and everything ok.

My DBAs asked us to turn these off, its so unreliable.
Other people here have made template hacks for SQL job monitoring trying to fill the AppInsight gaps but my god why is it so complicated for such a simple alert.
