    What to do when Alert Central server has too many processes running?




      I've configured Alert Central server a couple of week ago. Along this period, I have been configuring new alerts for my team. Yesterday I notice that the alerts were taking 1h30min to show up on the web console after being triggered. I've rebooted the server and then I've configured a SAM template for Alert Central, which I got over here on thwack.


      Right now the alerts pop up on the console without delay.


      The VM has 2 GB of RAM. It has a memory percent utilization of 95% or more.


      One item of the SAM template monitors the current number of active postmaster processes. It says it should be less than 50. I'm getting 55. Does anybody know if this indeed is an issue?
