I have gotten multiple reports from our Stand-By team that they receive Emails for downed Ping monitors in the middle of the night and even though they recover within 5 minutes, they never receive an email letting them know that the monitor has recovered. That same email address (Alert) does occasionally receive recovered alerts, but it is sporadic. Is there anything I can check? I have ran the simulations and they make it seem like everything is fine. I added some attachments that may help in showing my settings.
ipMonitor relays mail through your specified SMTP server. I would check the logs there to see if the messages are being received by that SMTP server.
