DNS Reverse lookup with multiple DNS Domains on multiple DNS servers

We have a large global environment where mergers and acquisitions are commonplace. We need to scan subnets very quickly after acquisition, but often cannot resolve DNS as those systems are manged in another DNS domain.

It appears that IPAM will scan a subnet via IP address and if a response is received for the ping, it will attempt to resolve the address from via reverse lookup on the primary DNS servers configured on the host of the IPAM service.

Are there any suggestions as how to allow reverse lookups in additional domains in IPAM?  (Assuming the reverse zones are located on newly acquired infrastructure.)
