We are experiencing an issue where netflow v9 traffic is saturating DS1 links with over 1.5mbps traffic originating from 10 customer sites. The data is collected from these 10 sites (all Cisco routers) to 2 main datacenters and then transmitted back to us from these 2 DCs to our management network over two DS1 circuits on one Cisco 1841 router (C1841-IPBASEK9-M), Version 12.4(24)T.
We are currently running -- Orion Platform 2015.1.3, IPAM 4.3.1, NTA 4.1.2, NPM 11.5.3, SRM 6.1.11, SAM 6.2.3, NCM 7.4.1, DPA 10.0.1, WPM 2.2.0, QoE 2.0, IVIM 2.1.1
Investigating this we came across RFC 5472 describing ipv6 and ipv4 netflow traffic but there was no mention about how to disable ipv6 monitoring traffic. https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc5472.txt
Does anyone know how to disable ipv6 netflow traffic from reporting to SWO from Cisco routers?
Thanks in advance for any help!
