I see in the NTA documentation that whatever NPM license you get you have to have the same NTA license. If you get the SL100 for NPM you get NTA SL100.
I am doing an evaluation period and am curious as to what license i should get. I am only trying to capture netflow traffic from one virtual switch.
I will only be monitoring 1 node that has 153 interfaces. Does the license go off of monitored nodes or interfaces? If it is off of nodes then I only would need NPM SL1 if that was possible. If Licensed off of interfaces I would need the SL250.
Can anybody help me with this question? Thanks in advance.
Well i would say sl250. NPM you monitor all active interfaces depending on the device function. NTA never uses the same amount of interfaces as NPM from my experience but you still have to match.
