    DPA Licensing for ORACLE

      Hello guys,

So one of our client ask us to help them monitoring their database infrastructure. Right now they have SQL and Oracle SE but in the near future they may acquire Oracle EE.

Now my question is about licensing, I understand that you buy the license based on the number of instances. According to Solarwinds you have one category for SQL and Oracle SE  and another one for Oracle EE.

I want to know if right now I buy the license for Oracle SE and later on my client decides to make an upgrade of their database to EE , will the Solarwinds licenses be valid to monitor Oracle EE instances ?

I know that Solarwinds may reject the Oracle EE instances if I only have the license for SE edition, but I just want to double check with you guys.

      Thanks,
