Custom Security Access: Toolbars and Views

    orioncrack

We have created custom toolbars and views for clients. But we cannot seem to fully lock it down. We are finding that if a client of our's knows basic SolarWinds URL patterns or types he can see things he should not see.

Any tips on how to totally lock it down? Do we need to go to the IIS level? NTFS level? That seems like a road we don't want to go down.

Has anyone provided custom views to their clients while locking down other URLs they should not see? They cannot see data because of Node pattern matching. But they can see other view titles, not data, if they merely change VIEW ID # numbers around. We don't want McDonald's to know that we also provide monitoring outsourcing for Burger King. Their guy is sneaky and clicks around his dashboards too much for his own good.

      Thanks.
