General HP Switch Setup Help

Jon,

You cab enable capture mode to see communication between CatTools and your device:

a. Use the CatTools File menu to select the "Enable capture mode" option.

b. Run the activity you are having trouble with. This should create a debug file in the \CatTools3\Debug folder.

c. Remember to deselect the "enable capture mode" option again.

The issue is System View: return to User View with Ctrl+Z.  Please see this link:

Instead of "CR" try "CTRL-Z"  without the quotes.

Can not get any help from SolarWinds so I'm going to consider this dead and not proceed with the purchase of Cattools.

Since this appears to be an urgent matter, I would recommend contacting your sales person, so they can put you in touch with a sales engineer.

This is the response I was given after reaching out to SolarWinds:

Unfortunately we don't have pre-sales engineers available for CatTools the way we do for our more expensive Network Configuration Manager.
