I am wondering how i could go about providing more information with the "Database Instance Availability" OOB alert. I am fine with the current behaivior but I would like to edit the email it sends out to include INSTANCE - STATUS in the subject. i.e. Database Instance Availability (FOO\INSTANCE01) - OFFLINE and in the body, the current result is fine. Is there any way to edit this, without creating a custom alert? If a custom alert is necessary, what variables would i need to return to display this information. Since i cannot view the query as i can in Orion, I am not sure how to go about displaying fields I am sure it captures.
