When I use IP mapper I see various symbols representing HP and Cisco during the SMNP scan. I have several HP Comware switches properly configured. When I configure a Cisco switch I see the results and can dig down into the switch. I can see HP printers, but the HP switches are not showing up. I can nmap t the switch and ports 161 and 162 are open. What am I missing or is the MIB list for HP limited?

Hey BobHatcher - since SolarWinds is using standard OIDs to get most of the information it shouldn't matter what vendor the switch is. They certainly have the HP MIBs loaded so unless it's an HP acquisition… -
I figured it out. It is a bug in the HP firmware. snmp-agent snmp-agent sys-info version 1 2 <--DOES NOT WORK snmp-agent sys-info version all <-- WORKS
