Hop count set to zero by default in Network Sonar Discovery

      Team,

I find it interesting why the default hop count in any new Sonar Discovery is set to 0.

Does anyone have an answer as to why this is?

      Thanks,

I've you are scanning every subnet you know about anyways, you don't need the hop count. It will be discovered regardless. Hop count is good if you only know about the subnet you're on and want to discover others hanging of it.

Also if you change, your network discovery takes way longer. I tried mine at 1 and my discovery couldn't complete in the 7 hours I'd configured for scanning 2 x /16 addresses.
