I have a problem with Solarwind Database Monitoring which is IGNITE ( DPA – Database Performance Analyzer)
It has been monitoring 3 servers for a while but last week I notices It didn’t monitor Server A anymore
The error message is as below :
“Monitor for database XYZ failed to start due to [username and/or password must be updated due to previous login failure; if the credentials have not changed for this database, stop the monitor, wait for the monitor to stop, then start the monitor.]. Will attempt to retry every  seconds”
I have tried stopping the monitor and start monitoring but no luck.
Any feedback are much appreciated !
I had this on a few servers too. What I found was a few that had an individual's AD account set as the monitor account. You can go to Options, Update Connection, choose the database instance, then verify the monitoring user is what you expect it to be.
