    Embed in SharePoint issue

    krauzer

      I'm getting some strange behavior in where I get stuck at the "Restoring your session, please wait." screen, UNLESS I log into SolarWinds, and log out again. Only the first time opening the SharePoint page after I have logged out, will it load.

      Has anyone experience this issue in the past, and if so what can I do to fix it?

          Hello, I believe there is a problem with security sandbox violation in Flash Player, because you are trying to embed flash widget from domain A into a site which runs on domain B. To fix that it is necessary to slightly modify the embedding code you use (that one you get when you click on "Copy Widget Link" from the widget menu on dashboard. You need to add allowScriptAccess parameter set to "always"

          Here is the example (pls notice the parameter is added twice - that's for cross browser compatibility)

          <object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="400" height="400" align="middle">
              <param name="movie" value="http://YOUR-VMAN-ADDRESS/swvm/ConsoleContainer.swf" />
            <param name="AllowScriptAccess" value="always" />
              <param name=FlashVars value="product=VMANFEATURE&widgetToken=386e87c6-a550-4c7d-adb6-f34362b7eb8f&wsserver=http%3A%2F%2FYOUR-VMAN-ADDRESS&wscontext=swvm&moduleUrl=http%3A%2F%2FYOUR-VMAN-ADDRESS%2Fswvm%2FModDashboard.swf" />
              <!--[if !IE]>-->
              <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://YOUR-VMAN-ADDRESS/swvm/ConsoleContainer.swf" width="400" height="400">
