For SNMP integration to other tools, is there any way to update the destination in bulk mehtod

Do you have access to NCM?  If so, you could create a script that can be applied to all the nodes it manages.

Similarly, you can use NCM's Compliance feature to show every device that references the incorrect trap destination, and then automatically change that address via a scripted remediation.

This is more in terms of NPM alerting...under the trigger action part for SNMP Trap type, we provide the destination of other tool to which traps are sent...so in such cases where we need to change that destination IP address then is there any way?

I've not tried sending NPM to other apps.  Other Thwack members may be able to help, but if this feature is available, I'm sure you'll find it relatively quickly by searching the Thwack archives and the Operations manual for NPM.

Not a prob...let me see if anyone has come across this.

I did manage to find a way to send traps to 2 destination at once...so 50% of my work is done...

In the alert trigger tab, if we use the snmp trap action type then this can

be achieved. In the destination field, you can mention multiple destination

address separating with a ','.

Thanks for your reply Pratik! but it is a manual thing what we can do. Actually I needed the query which I can run at the backend to get the job done in one go and I was really queries curious to know what you did to get that done in Bulk.
