ipMonitor 9.0 repetitive alerts

Is there any way to stop a known alert that occurs on a daily basis? This is something that happens everyday at the same time. ie. from this time to this time, this will happen. Do not send alerts for these events.

  • Hello Ekimmike,

You can do one of two things:

    • Put the Monitor(s) in maintenance during the time period in question: In order to accomplish this, simply go to "Configuration -> Scheduled Maintenance Tasks" and click "Add Maintenance Schedule".  Set the time and duration that you want the Monitor(s) to be suspended for and add the Monitor(s) in question.

    or

    • Disable the Alert Action during the Time period in question: In order to accomplish this, simply go to "Configuration -> Alert List" and click the Alert that keeps notifying you.  From here, click the Action in question and then click the Availability calendar.  This will allow you to disable certain time periods.

    Hope this helps.
