Occasional false alarms with resource monitors

I've got a little over 900 monitors and I notice one to several monitors occasionally going yellow with one of two errors. One is

The RPC server is unavailable: oserror: 0x6ba

The other is:

The network path was not found: oserror: 0x35

It never seems to be the same devices that exhibit this behavior. They are always resource monitors like physical memory and drivespace.

Is the ipMonitor server overrun? Do I need more horsepower on the server to handle all these monitors?

  • I have an idea what might be causing this. I enabled another network adapter in a test VLAN and our network admin was complaining that he was getting requests trying to query IPs on the production network from it. We disabled this second adapter and will see if I continue getting these errors.
