Monitor Windows logoff events and whether an account is logged in?

We have a server that requires an account to be running on it at all times to function correctly. Can we use our existing IPMonitor setup to add a monitor that can send us alerts when an account logs off, and/or test if a certain account stays logged in?

You can try an event log monitor: ipMonitor :: Event Log Monitor or you can write a vbs script, and use an external process monitor: ipMonitor :: EXEC Monitor

I've attempted to setup an Event Log Monitor to filter for Event ID 4647 in Security Audit Success. The preview button shows an example of events pulled from the event log, but when testing by logging into the server and logging out an alert is never generated. Am I setting this up incorrectly?

Make sue you have the informational alert box checked. Here is more information on that alert:

I do not see an "informational alert" box anywhere in the monitor setup.

The monitor I've setup for the Event Log Monitor is still not functioning. Can anyone recommend anything? Thanks
