IPMonitor is really frustrating me.
I'm trying to add 5 devices to a group and when doing a network scan via the range or via the hostnames file it fails to connect. However, when I do 1 by 1 it works fine. Is this a known issue in 10.8.2?
I have seen issues where the device can time out when doing a discovery, but adding the device manually works. I would try adding one device to a discovery. If you have the same issue, adding them manually will be your best option.
Sorry you're having a tough time getting things configured. Are these devices routers? There is a known issue with adding routers via Discovery but it's been around for some time and was not introduced in 10.8.2.
Negative they were not routers but regular devices. I think I had to restart our SolarWinds server and services in order for this to work properly.
Not sure what's going on. I'd recommend opening a support ticket if you haven't already.
