User Portal Additions

The new user portal in version 12.7.1 shows potential but it lacks functionality.

There needs to be a means of viewing existing tickets full screen and not just from that little window on the side that you cannot even move the bar to make the area larger.

    I've learned that SolarWinds will make a change when they make a change and that's about all you can count on.

    This particular request is high on my list as it's causing unnecessary user confusion having to "PLUS" their comment first, then scroll to the bottom and hit save to commit. 

    The number of times users lose comments or think they're replying to their tickets but their comments don't go anywhere is ridiculous. Then they email us wondering why we didn't respond to their update or get upset with us when we close the ticket for non-response or call them about their lack of response.

    I'd be happy with at least changing the silly PLUS icon to the iconic (pun intended) floppy-disk Save icon, prevalent for decades and universally recognized.

    So, hoping against hope, I wish SW will address this as a fix, not as a feature request that will sit her gathering digital dust until the end of times.

  • There appear to be multiple requests for improvement of the 12.7 client interface, especially the 'History' tab.  I sure hope SolarWinds WHD developers are listening.
