Search for Clients with duplicate Email addresses

Since WHD can use the Client email address as the primary key to the Client account (an option we have chosen), a problem arises if two Client accounts get created with the same email address in their primary or secondary email address field.   This in turn cause replies by email by the Client to open tickets to be rejected and information and time is lost.   Since we have chosen to allow new accounts to be created by incoming email this happens way to much.

The accounts created by incoming email that then result in duplicate email addresses are not stopped by the WHD. (it would be nice to see this problem solved)   Instead it goes ahead and creates the new account along with the new ticket and thus causes problems with information now on two separate ticket and two separate Client accounts.

Inactivating the duplicate account does not solve this problem.  Only by deleting all the accounts that have duplicate email addresses or changing primary and/or secondary emails so that the duplication no longer exists, is the only solution we have found.   This is time consuming for the application administrator to have to hunt down possible problems or wait for a problem to occur and then clean up that mess. 

I propose that Client Search be enhanced to allow the search for duplicate email addresses (primary AND secondary).  At least that way we do not have to wait until a problem arises with incoming email from a Client.   If this could be tied together with my other proposal for enabling Client accounts to be merged that would be even more powerful.
