It would be great to have a field that contained checkboxes for a workflow that will spawn multiple tickets. The tick boxes would indicate what child tickets would be created instead of creating all the tickets in that workflow (even if they are not needed.)
Right now, we have a workflow that kicks off when a ticket gets submitted for a new hire. (Create AD and email accounts, Set up email signature, Configure security Fob, I.T. Orientation, Port in Cell Phone Number, Set up computer, etc).
Not all of these are applicable to every hire. For example, we do not port in the phone for a part-time employee. Also, some employees do not need a computer, but need the other stuff. The tick boxes would indicate what tickets actually get created.
Or communications staff also has a workflow this would work well with as well.
