Unknown host: imap.gmail.com

Can someone explain the attached error to me? I am receiving and able to send email through WebHelpDesk, but am unable to resolve this error. Thank you ahead of time.

It looks to be a timeout error. If it works most of the times but errors at other times, that would indicate to me latency in the network somewhere.  You might try increasing the 'Connection Timeout' value under Setup > E-mail > Options and see if the error persists.

Justin any other thoughts? I've set the connection timeout to 999 seconds; max. It still errors out.
