Call for WHD 12.4 Beta 1 testers (is security and FIPS your thing?)

What is the status on integrating the iOS discovery capabilities of Casper and WHD? Since it works with computers, it should work with iOS devices shouldn't it?

Hi Mark, we track this as a request for improvement and is one of the things we would like to address in future releases. There is no timeline at the moment.

Is it only Security and FIPS? What are features can be expected with version? The previous posts you used to make "What we're working on with version 12.X?" was pretty handy as it gave a rough idea of upcoming changes.

Excuse me but this is what you've been working on for over a year or so?  I would hope there would be additional improvements to the product.

This Beta is focused heavily on security and specifically on FIPS compliant cryptography. We have cryptography improvements all across the product and we are seeking for feedback on them,

We are working on more new features but we had to split it into several releases for various reasons. You can expect another Beta coming after this one soon. This Beta is meant specifically to collect feedback on FIPS and all cryptography improvements as that is very sensitive area to all users.

I thought that was your policy from last year (beginning of 2015)(to include several small releases with improvement to the product). You still do not list anything here that is supportive of feedback from the user community.   Nothing game changing here Peter that I can see and no list of product improvements listed anywhere for this update or any future updates.

Whenever a feature is asked about thats not included we're always pointed to the Feature Request page.  Since 12.4 is "focused heavily on security and specifically on FIPS compliant cryptography" I'm wondering if any of these top 5 feature requests will be included:

Hello Peter - just checking to see your progress on your yearly (once or twice a year) updates?  We all would love to get past the "Security and FIPS" beta so you can focus on all the great improvements you have planned.
