Why am I getting 'Access Denied' in the SEUM MONITOR?

you recorded transaction using Recorder under your domain account so internal helpdesk application automatically logged you in using your domain account. Transactions on SEUM player use custom local accounts that are not part of domain so helpdesk application doesn't allow then to automatically log in.

Best solution is to run recorder under local user account that does not have automatic logon to helpdesk. In this case Recorder prompts you for domain credentials, you enter them and they will be saved in recording. Then if transaction is played on player, these saved credentials will be used to log-in and it should work as expected.

Jiri is correct as always but this KB article should help explain the issue as well as provide options for recording transactions that utilize Windows Integrated or Pass-Through authentication.

In my case, I had to uninstall both RECORDER and PLAYER from the server I was using as a "PLAYER" server. And remove the local 'SEUM' accounts too.

After reinstalling everything it works fine now, even the one with 'pass-through'.
