Custom Properties in WPM

Yes, Custom Properties can be assigned to Transactions.

What version of WPM are you running? When I go to add a custom property my only options are Nodes, Applications, Interfaces, Volumes, and Reports. No Transactions. We are running NPM 11.0.1 and WPM 2.0.1.

WPM 2.2, which is currently available as Release Candidate.

Do you know if that feature was added in the 2.2 RC or if it is available in 2.1 as well? I looked at the release notes for both and didn't see any mention of custom properties.

I believe it was a 2.1 feature, but I don't have access to a 2.1 build right now so I can't say for sure. It's definitely in 2.2 though.

It was in 2.1 and it's in 2.2 , you're correct aLTeReGo.

The catch is you can't edit/add them directly to a transaction via editing that transaction, you have to go through custom properties editor and/or view/edit custom properties within that menu to add them.

(Please move this to being able to be edited directly from edit transaction in the future).    

I installed 2.1 and the custom properties are included so we are good there. My goal is to create an alert that sends an e-mail to the values of the custom property field, but when I go to create a "transaction" alert I don't see custom properties as an option for an alert trigger. Is the only way to access the transaction custom properties through a custom SQL alert?
