i'm new to this tools, and been testing it for a day and couldn't find a way to monitor the windows service running.
say "SQL SERVER (MSSQLSERVER)"
i tried to monitor a counter named "Win32_Service(MSSQLSERVER): ProcessId", and it gives the most appropriate result, the counter value will turn to 0 if the service has been"stopped". however, it does not reflect the "paused" status, the counter still shows "non-0" value.
