User control of "Renewal" messaging

We just went through a very bad experience with the renewal of our Maintenance Licence and I would like to see this changed before next year.   Our company paid the maintenance fee about 20 days before the due date.   No messages were sent about the need to change the Licence Key, so it was overlooked because of our busy work load.   The weekend before the old maintenance was due to expire ALL of the techs that were marked as ADMINs started getting a message, about every minute, from the system that the maintenance contract was due to expire.   Now I do not know about other companies, but our ADMINs have nothing to do with the financials of the product.   Since this happened on the weekend, putting in a ticket was useless.  The Product Key in the WHD product page did not work to update the product.   It took several hours on Monday to get the right key for our product version (one release back).  Meanwhile the messages just kept coming.    All of that was background to my request:

I would like to have a Setting attribute in the General tab that would allow me to direct the ALL of this sort of email to a single address.   This would reduce the confusion among Admins that should not be getting these messages.  It would allow the correct person to deal with the issue in a timely manner.
