We're using webhelpdesk for a while now. An excellent piece of software.
A lot of our techs are daily on the field. And always executing new tasks ... Not all request are made from a central point. So on the field the ticket registration tends to be forgotten sometimes.
What's missing from our part is a stripped down tech interface, where the technician can very quickly enter a new request on f.ex an android device. (just choosing a few req. fields user - request type - title - status). Just to create the ticket with the basics. Once on their desk they can complete the other information.
Preferrably on an android phone / device.
We know & testen the apple app but it was only for viewing and wasn't applicable for the use I just described. Just an mobile optimized mini-site would go excellent.
It would be a great way forward for our goal of registering all activity!
