I would really like to streamline loaning equipment in WHD.
Ideally,
1. Type in (or bar scan) an Asset
2. Type in (or bar scan) a User
this should be able to be done in either order as well.
That should be it.
[there should be a preference for a default Due Date period (ie 2 weeks)]
Options:
a. Schedule date if you want to begin a loan in the future
b. Change Due Date to something other than the preference setting
So doing 1 and 2 above should automatically set the "Scheduled Out" and "Checked Out" dates with the Date they were entered. If you change the "Scheduled Out" Date, that should automatically empty the "Checked Out" date.
The "Scheduled In" Date should automatically be set based on the Setup Preference and the "Checked Out" Date.
With the above, Reservations would be MUCH simpler to use and maybe even used :-)
