We would love the slack integration for 3 major reasons:
1. Communication on alert tickets. We have “showstopper” tickets where we all have to be aware of what is submitted. Currently, the text feature in whd isn’t 100% efficient and doesn’t get sent to all members of the team. We could have Showstopper and Urgent tickets funnel into channels so that all team members would get notified in the iOS app and then someone could respond quicker.
2. It would be great to integrate a feature where when we document in a ticket that it would be used as a “repository” for searching. Currently, when we add an attachment for documentation to a closed ticket the user has to do a search in whd…which isn’t very efficient if you don’t remember what the ticket was. If we could upload the documentation into slack with the ticket referenced we would be able to search quickly for solutions that we have solved. (Plus when there is turnover or temp help we could get them up and run quickly.)
3. It would be great to be able to reference, update and close ticket numbers in Slack @118329480 so that it could be used for communication in teams.
