Notification of Scheduled Tickets

When setting a Ticket as Scheduled, I would like to be notified <x minutes> before the Due Date / Time.

In a school district, there are many times when we need to schedule a data/time with a teacher to work on an issue. Would be helpful is WHD would bring up a big notification box on the screen, SMS my phone, and possibly even call me to remind me of the scheduled event.

  • The fact that the "Scheduled" feature exists, but there's no "reminder" notifications that you can send automatically in response to this, is a HUGE miss in product development.  I get that Web Help Desk isn't something SolarWinds puts a lot of effort into, but it's SOOO close to being a great product.  Someone along the lines gave up or quit and the company has just let the product lag and lag and lag.  This idea has been on the site for over 2 years and nothing has come of it.  It's so disappointing that SolarWinds just isn't really doing much to expand upon the products abilities.  I WANT this feature...scheduling is an important function.  There should be reminders for SCHEDULED tickets.

  • We need this too!  We need notifications based off a tech selected date.  We have a handful of techs with 50+ tickets and managing them is quite a task.  It would be awesome if they could schedule reminders based on the date.
