FEATURE REQUEST - Company creation via API

We are in the process of integrating our SharePoint infrastructure with WHD, billing and few other applications we use in operations. All new customer accounts get created in SharePoint during sales process. Once sales cycle is complete SharePoint is going to push complete customer info, including company, location and contacts to WHD and rest of the apps so that we do not have to create it manually, have variations of names or even duplicates. The idea is to automate the process and have single place (SharePoint) to add, update or remove customer information across all systems.

We are looking for a way to allow REST API to create and modify company information. This appears to be the only missing piece but is probably the most significant. Not sure why it was missed in the first place.
