Sunburst in the Agent installed for the Help Desk

Jump to solution

Back in June I was installing the software agent used by the Help Desk Web App to monitor and acquire information about my computers in the network. Sort of I didn't liked because when installed in my Mac that agent was so sticky an annoying that I decided to factory reset my computer to get ride of it. Then I noticed since jun to date, that at least four of my ten computer had to be factory reset because performance issues. THEN the Sunburst attack came into action and now I am wondering if this software agents were infected or not?

Who can tell me ? Everybody talks about the Orion® Platform software but what about this section of the SolarWinds family? I have so many concerns!!!

hope someone from the company can reply to this post.

Thanks

Hi,

While the investigations are still ongoing, you will find an always up to date list of what products are affected vs not known to be affected here:
https://www.solarwinds.com/securityadvisory/faq

Scroll down to "What products are NOT affected by this security vulnerability?"
