Quick way to link multiple incidents to a problem?

Yep.

In my demo environment i have set ticket 25 as a "problem" ticket.

I have several other tickets i want to relate as "incidents" to that problem ticket.

So, i will select them all and then click the "+" under bulk action at the bottom of the page:

Next, in the resulting dialog i will set them all to be Incidents and then click the Problem side-tab on the upper right:

Then i'll do a search to find the Problem ticket and click "Link":

NOTE!!!:  When you get to this part of the process, there appears to be a bit of a bug here.  After you click "Link" on that Problem Search dialog...before you hit Apply, you will need to make sure that the radio button for Ticket Type is set to "Change To".   As you can see in the screenshot above, it reverted to "No Change" and caused me to get an error...so make sure it is checked to "Change to:" and that it is still set to Incident.

Then scroll to the bottom and hit "apply".

kellytice​ Thanks; unfortunately I am not seeing the Problems tab in the upper right like you are.  Is that only available in the most current version?

i think it will show as 'Requests' until you click the Incident button then it will change to say 'Problems'

I did select "Incident" but that didn't make the Problems tab appear.  Were there any other items you had to select for that to appear?

hmmm.. not sure why that wouldn't change.  I'm using WHD 12.5 but that functionality should have been the same for the last few versions of the product.  might be a support call/ticket if you can't get that to work.     

i'd be curious if it shows the same behavior if you're trying to make an individual ticket an Incident of a Problem or if it only happens when you're attempting to do it in bulk.  (though it should certainly be virtually the same process either way)

Thanks kellytice​!  I opened a support ticket and will be doing a remote session with a tech tomorrow so hopefully he will be able to tell me why the Problems tab isn't showing up.  I will be sure to post back here on what I find.

They was a bug in 12.4.2 where it did not appear when using a bulk action which has been fixed in 12.5
