New Server Install

Question

We just installed an instance of WHD on RHEL 6.

When we try to browse to the initial page we get the following:

HTTP Status 404 - Servlet WOServletAdaptor is not available

type Status report

message Servlet WOServletAdaptor is not available

description The requested resource (Servlet WOServletAdaptor is not available) is not available.

I found a couple old references to this, but nothing recent.

This is a clean install on a brand new VM.

turns out this had to do with some issues with the hostname and FQDN.  Fixed by setting the hostname to the same as FQDN
