Can WHD have tickets created from Solarwinds NPM alarms without email integration?

We currently have a Solarwinds alarm email to ticketing system solution that works well but we are attempting to remove the unreliable corporate email in between without making our ticketing system an email server either.

I saw something on coming features of asset discovery from Solarwinds and wondered if SWIS can be called frequently enough and to get new alarms to generate tickets from?

Thoughts?
