Assets update from file

Hi all,

i'm trying to update my assets information. I imported xls file but it created another asset with the same serial number and it didn't update existing asset.

I used option "Sync based on" "Serial number", but it doesn't seem to work.

version 12.7.2

Can you help me please?

Can you check that your serial numbers don't have leading or trailing spaces, as this could be the problem.

I checked it. It's ok.
Often an error message appeared: "asset n. is already in use". why?
