  • Pankaj,

    This wizard executes a test for the presence of specific snmp MIB object to determine whether we can support it:

    1) It first checks whether  IsSnmpAavailable by the presence of the following OID:

    SysContactOid = "1.3.6.1.2.1.1.4.0"

    2) Then it checks for  MediaGatewayOIDs:

    //ISDN-MIB - isdnSignalingGetIndex

    "1.3.6.1.2.1.10.20.1.3.1.0", SnmpValueType.INTEGER,

    // DIAL-CONTROL-MIB:callHistory -callHistoryTableMaxLength

    "1.3.6.1.2.1.10.21.1.4.1.0", SnmpValueType.INTEGER,

    // IF-MIB:ifTableLastChange

    "1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.5.0", SnmpValueType.TIMETICKS

      If all of them are there and the values have the correct type (SnmpValueType) then device is defined as valid  MediaGateway.

    You can walk these specific OIDs and see what the Gateway returns.

  • Hi Joer,

    Thanks for your reply

    I have checked the below OID for both VG and AVG device , The SNMP Walk OID results are same.

    1. 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.4.0"                               Found
    2. 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.20.1.3.1.0                 Not Found
    3. 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.21.1.4.1.0                  Found
    4. 1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.5.0                          Found

    So if OID results are same for both, then why only Analog Voice Gateway are not getting added in VNQM

    Kindly advise further

    Regards,

    Abhijit

  • Pankaj,

    I am missing the same OID as you are on ~ 100 nodes. Were you able to make any further progress?
