Any monitoring be developed for MS Lync voice / Skype for Business ? We have a Lync/Skype environment and we would like to monitor the voip enironment but the VNQM doesnt appear to cover Lync/Skype. Will this be covered at some point? Trying to figure out if management wasted their money buying the VNQM module.

VNQM currently does not support MS Lync/Skype for business at this time, but we do have our eye on it! Please give the feature request an upvote here: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/1251

The best option we have available today would be a combo of QoE + SAM’s app templates.

I believe that is correct, waiting to hear back from our Lync (Skype) team for confirmation.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. I believe it Uses SIP protocol which VNQM does not support at the moment.
